The deadline for the Orlando Regional USBC Open City Tournament entries has been extended to September 1, 2020.  ALL ENTRIES and FEES must be received by this date.

A decision has been made to cancel the Annual Meeting that was scheduled July 25, 2020, at Boardwalk Bowl. This decision was based on the increase in the number of Positive COVID 19 cases in our bowling areas, and the numbers keep increasing, in addition to the social distancing ordinance.

All award winners from the 2020 Women’s Annual Tournament and the HOF Inductee, Kenny Lawson, will be contacted so arrangements can be made for the presentation of the awards.

Please contact our office if you have any questions.

Thank you for your understanding in this crazy time!!

1 – THE ANNUAL MEETING OF THE ORLANDO REGIONAL USBC that was scheduled at Boardwalk Bowl on May 9, 2020, has been canceled indefinitely.  We will notify everyone when a definite time and date has been set.

2 – Due to the uncertainty of the Orlando Regional USBC Open City Tournament, we have elected to refund ALL of the paid entry fees.  Checks will be mailed to the Captains, by April 1st.  There are many people in financial strain and maybe this small amount of money may help them in some way.  It will be the Captain’s responsibility to refund the fees to their bowlers. We will retain all of the entries and if and when we reschedule, the captain can reactivate those entries and keep from having to fill out the form again.

The ORLANDO REGIONAL USBC JJ GARRETT MEMORIAL OPEN CITY TOURNAMENT is postponed indefinitely. We will be working diligently in the next week to try to secure dates for rescheduling. In the meantime, the health and safety of our bowlers is our main priority.

Accepting applications for the Orlando Regional USBC board of directors and attached is the 2020 application.

To Jonathan Eady and Elise Chambers

Each of these Youth bowlers have received scholarship money that has been sent to their SMART account. They were selected for their achievements (school & bowling), their essays and their coach’s evaluation. We are very proud of their accomplishments and wish them well in their strive to continue their education and represent our sport.

The Orlando Regional USBC Board of Directors would like to Congratulate DOUG BECKER on being chosen as the next inductee into the Florida State Hall of Fame for Ability.
